Neo-cons and the Polls

I just read where a Gallup poll has the current administration is up in the polls by 13% over the challenger. Jesus people...do you really think the current administration is doing a great job? Don't you wonder how they can soil a decorated Vietnam vet and get you to believe that GW was really fulfilling his committments to the Air National Guard? Now that you know something's fishy, do you really think it doesn't matter what someone did thirty years ago? How convenient for you. Talking about flip flopping.

I guess my bigger concern is what America is turning into. Are we really so arrogant to think that we can affect the very way other societies think by using force to overthrow governments...no matter how evil...and without the rest of the free world behind you? Because, this is what this administration's major objectives are- turn the rest of the world into societies just like ours. You know, America is a good, hard working, sometimes ethical place but its far from perfect. If you don't believe me, look at the real statistics.
