Bush and Typewriters

Can't you just envision the backroom discussions going on in this administrations back rooms?

"Just put doubt out there that these documents are fake. Our good old lemming constituency 'll take if from there!"

"Jesus George, how much pot were you smok'n? Was it cool fly'n around in billion dollar jets buzzed?"

"It was the best high. But we gotta do something about this. Don't we have any "experts" on the rolls that we can call in to discredit this? Hell y'all, this could ruin me!"

What I'm concerned about is that John Kerry isn't enough of a brawler to take this new information and run with it. You know, after the document is discredited, the republican stance will turn to, "well, why are we focusing on things that happened 35 years ago?" And, for certain, all of our neocon friends will immediately begin parroting back the mantra in order to keep their views well justified in their own minds.

Look people...Bush is a dolt. He and his buddy Chenney have more DUIs between them than most drunks. Bush is clearly a flip flopper and a dangerous, now religious zealot to boot. Today we add down and outright liar to his resume which, we all probably already knew but, like with WMD, we were looking for real proof. It will be very interesting to see how this administration handles this one. As I said, I'm sure the argument, which David Brooks already began seeding on The News Hour last night, will be to "forget and forgive the past. The only thing that matters is the current administration's record and whether we want more of the same."

Well, let's see David...soaring deficits...suffering middle class...high prices...poor healthcare...legal machine guns...wealthier top 2%....poorer bottom 10%...a jesus freak with a fake twang in the oval office...alienated global alliances....thousands of Americans dead in some god forsaken place for revenge sake....no consistent foreign policy...highest unemployment rate in 75 years....most pro-religious policies in 50 years...embarrasing figure head...ineffective staff...organizational changes that no one can figure out or administrate...billions of our tax dollars wasted on HomeLand Security...all but killed social security with rampant deficit spending....and no real proof that we're any safer. I could go on but what would the point be?

You heard my prediction on the "Mouth". We'll just have to wait and see. Another predicition I'll make is that, if Kerry doesn't take off the gloves on this one and capitalize on it, then he's a goner.
