The puppeteer

Have you ever seen a puppeteer work a marionette? If you have, then you know why GW can't fire Karl Rove. No strings-no administration. Who would take over as master puppeteer? Surely not Dickie. Hell, I don't think anyone knows where the guy is most of the time. How about Condi? Perhaps she can direct things but I think she's too busy stammering out meaningless rhetoric across the globe. What about Laura? Maybe she's the sleeper and this is just the ticket for her to wake up and take the reigns a-la Nancy R. Whatever happens, I'm betting it won't be much. If I remember my "spy" stuff correctly, aren't folks who betray national security guilty of treason? Maybe this is a good time to march out the patriot act. Oh, that's right, the patriot act only applies to the underprivileged, illegal aliens, Muslims and the occasional accountant. Karl doesn't fit the bill.

Maybe George will make us all proud by at least firing the guy but I wouldn't bet a nickel on it.
